Poll finds stong Anti-Washington feeling

Polls find high anti-incumbent feelings toward Congress may lead to losses for Democrats in midterm elections. These feelings have been sparked by the struggling economy, high unemployment rates, and misuse of the taxpayers dollars. The stalled health care overhaul is also very frustrating for voters. Angry citizens affected by this could likely take these problems to the election polls. The public's favorable opinion of Republicans has led to an increase of 6 percentage points. They are now almost at the same level as Democrats. Democrats fear that a repeat of 1994 and 2006 mid-term elections could give control back to Republicans.
